Below is information regarding tuition, practice, and league play.
Travel players at CHAMPIONS FC
Champions FC’s Travel is a 12-month program with ages starting at U9 (2016 for the 2024– 2025 season)
and runs through U19 (2006 for the 2024 – 2025 season). Below is our seasonal calendar:
2024-2025 Seasons
July - August Fall pre-season
1 practice a week (depending on team, starts first due to early tournaments)
August - November Official Fall Season
November - December Post season (1 practice a week.
November 25th—December 1st – Thanksgiving Break OFF
December 3rd – December 17th Reduced Winter Training
December 19th – January 2nd – Holiday Break OFF
January – February – Winter season ( one practice a week)
February - March Pre - Spring Season Training / HS Training prep.
March - June Official spring season
March 24th - March 31st – Spring Break OFF
May – Tryouts.
May 27th – June 5th – Last of Spring Training
What players can Expect
U9, U10, U13 Teams
Fall/Spring - 2 Team Sessions and 1 Travel Academy Session a week (total of 3)
- Strength and Performance Program during the season
- Pre/Post Season - 1 Team Session a week.
- Minimum of 3 Tournaments/events for the year (5 max)
U11Team
Fall/Spring - 2 Team Sessions and 1 Travel Academy Session a week (total of 3).
- Strength and Performance Program during the season
- State Cup or Presidents Cup recommended
- Pre/Post Season - 1 Team Session a week.
- Minimum of 3 Tournaments/events for the year (5 max)
U15-U18 Teams
Fall - 3 Team Sessions a week
Spring 1 Team Session a week
Strength and Performance Program
- Pre/Post Season- 1 team training session each week
- State Cup or Presidents Cup recommended
- Minimum of 3 Tournaments/events for the year (5 max)
Practice and Games Each team will participate in two practices per week. A third day may be added for
endurance training and conditioning.
(Practice change for HS age in spring) Practices and home games are held at either Embry Mills or Smith Lake Park.
Home games will be held on Saturday or Sunday.

Uniforms
Uniforms are not included in tuition.
Uniforms will be ordered separate prior to the beginning season.
The goal is to use the same uniforms for two years to reduce expenses.

Player Expectations
If you make the travel/academy team, your full commitment is expected.
That commitment means that you must attend all practices, games, and tournaments
during the primary soccer season.
It will be expected that your parent(s) will facilitate your participation and attend all events
relating to games and tournaments with you. Conflicts, such as other sports or social commitments,
are expected to be resolved in favor of CHAMPIONS FC commitments.
CHAMPIONS FC will set expectations for playing seasons and potential conflicts
should be discussed directly with each coach.
Players have to be at the location of the game 35 minutes prior to game start time.
Unexcused missed practice or games will affect playing time
and eligibility to continue with the club.
If the player is removed from a team or choose to leave Champions FC
for any reason, parent or guardians will be responsible to finish paying the travel year fees.
Is refused, the party will be responsible for any financial legal fees.
Where are Games Played?
CHAMPIONS FC teams play in NCSL (National Capitol Soccer league) or EDP, Most games are within the northern Virginia region/ DMV area.
In some cases games can be up to two hours away, but this is typically the case once every season or every other season.
Tournaments can be local or may require travel.
Uniforms and travel expenses are not included in the fee.
TUITION
Tuition includes: Player Registration Fees (US Soccer, VYSA), insurance, league fees (EDP, NCSL),
tournament fees, field rental fees, referee fees, coaching costs and coaches education.
*Tuition does not include: Travel costs, uniform costs.
An initial deposit will be required in order to secure your roster spot. That deposit will go toward
your overall tuition dues.
All payments after the initial payment will need to be paid online using a credit or debit card.
There are no refunds on player dues.
Once a roster spot is accepted, the account holder is responsible for all seasonal dues.
Late Fee $15 assessed on the 10th day of the month.
Declined Installment Fee $25
EVENTS AND TOURNAMENTS
Each team is guaranteed a between three to four tournaments
per year covered by tuition.
Additional tournaments may be considered.
Additional fees may apply.
Team fundraising is always encouraged!
Champions FC reserves the rights to release a player for
non-compliance at any time for any reason.
Donation or payment are not refundable.
